People: architect, Erickson Sullivan Architects, Lincoln; consulting engineer, R.O. Youker Inc., Lincoln; prime contractor, Kingery Construction Co., Lincoln; and steel structure and erector, BD Construction, Kearney, Neb.

Products: Ceco Buiding Systems, Columbus, Miss., manufactured the following metal for the travel center: 27,000 square feet of 24-gauge trapezoidal standing seam roof panels in snow white for the main roof; 4,000 square feet of 24-gauge BattenLok 16-inch standing seam roof panel in harbor blue for the hipped roof and wood-framed canopies; and about 13,100 square feet of 24-gauge concealed fastener panel in sandstone metallic.

Fine Points: This project was expedited to accommodate a restricted timeframe. Different architectural elements and structures were combined to create a unique facility.
