Products: About 70,000 square feet (6503 m²) of Lewisville, Texas-based Metl-Span 2-inch (51-mm) CF-42 Mesa wall panels is installed on the hangar. Panel lengths range from 20 to 45 feet (6 to 14 m) and are fi nished in a sandstone color.
Fine Points: The hangar is a project at the Air National Guard Base to prepare the 167th Airlift Wing for the arrival of 11 C-5 Galaxy aircrafts, which are some of the largest aircrafts in the world and the largest airlifters in the Air Force inventory. The CF Mesa panels are suited for exterior-wall and interior-partition-wall applications. The lightly corrugated profi le on both faces of the panel ensures symmetry between the outside and inside of the building.
