FINE POINTS: The owner saw a nearby hotel with a Met-Tile roof and liked its look. The company’s roofing allowed the owner toeliminate plywood decking and apply the panels directly overopen-purlin framing. Met-Tile offers a 230-plus mph (370-pluskm/h) wind rating for superior hurricane protection.
