People: Architect, general contractor, and builder, Sunbelt Commercial Builders, Houston; erector and roofing contractor, Crisp and Associates, Savannah, Ga.

Products: The architect selected two products from Metallic Building Co. in Houston that helped achieve a clean, appealing appearance for the building. The BattenLok HS roofing system and PBA were used for the endwall and sidewall panels. The BattenLok HS system was constructed to transition the roof to a fascia application and provide hot-melt mastic to ensure weathertight seams. PBA produces a decorative smooth shadow line and semi-concealed fasteners.

Fine Points: This office features a 100-foot clear span, 146 feet in length, and an eave height of 16 feet. It has a 1/12 sloped standing seam roof, which is similar to vintage railroad stations and platforms. Special features including wood trim, bracing, and the scaled railroad track tile inlay all add to the distinct appearance of the office entrance.
