Raleigh, N.C.-based Umicore Building Products (UBP), manufacturer of VMZINC architectural zinc products, recently launched a video podcast series. “Interviews with Architects” is available in the iTunes Store and each free episode features an architect talking about a recently completed project that utilized VMZINC material.
The first episode of the podcast features Dean Marchetto of Marchetto, Higgens, Stieve. He spearheaded an award-winning design to convert n historic church in Hoboken, N.J., into his firm's new offices. Another episode features Frank Harmon, FAIA, who talks about his design of the new LEED Platinum AIA NC headquarters in Raleigh.
“Our video podcasts are not only about VMZINC, they are about the architectural community as a whole”, explains Dan Nicely, managing director of Umicore Building Products USA. “We would like to reach out to everyone interested in architecture by using the best channels available, and it just made sense for us to share our ‘Interviews with Architects’ series via iTunes.” The video podcast episodes are available on iTunes and Podbean.
