Products: The roof is a Memphis, Tenn.-based VP Buildings standing seam Galvalume roof. VP’s Rigid Frame system also was used, which allowed for clear interior space.
Fine Points: The complex of two 12,000-square-foot medical buildings is on adjacent lots in a new professional park in a growing area of south Lakeland. The fronts of the buildings have stepped mansard roofed canopies covering the walkway and entrances. The site is enhanced by extensive landscaping and site lighting. The facility includes numerous energy-efficient items, including ceiling and roof insulation of R-30 or more, R-19 walls, high-efficiency HVAC and insulated glass with a large shaded area over the storefront.
