2007 metalmag Architectural Awards

Hanley Wood LLC. now is accepting entries for its second annual awards program. Architects, send in your metal construction projects!

Winning projects in each category—interiors, metal buildings, roofs and wall panels—will be featured in metalmag’s May/June 2008 issue. Projects must be submitted by an architect/architectural firm. One winner in each category will receive $750 and free reprint promotional materials.

Eligibility

•	Projects must be submitted by an architect/architectural firm.
•	An architect/architectural firm may submit one project in each category.
•	Metal must be the primary product used (in each category).
•	Projects must have been completed during 2007.

Categories
Interiors
Metal Buildings
Roofs
Wall Panels

Judges
The awards will be judge by representatives of the metal construction industry, including a manufacturer, panel installer, architect, contractor and others.

Judging Criteria
Does the project contain a significant amount of metal?
Does the project reflect quality design and installation practices?
Does the project meet industry standards?
Does the project use metal in an innovative way?

Deadline
Entry forms and artwork must be received by Jan. 17, 2008.

Prizes

•	$750 for one winning architect/architectural firm in each category.
•	Free reprint promotional material for one winning architect/architectural firm in each category.

Artwork
High-resolution artwork must be submitted on CD with each entry form (300 dpi at 8 by 10 inches is ideal). Photos of award-winning projects will be printed in the May/June 2008 issue of metalmag and in promotional materials. Submissions will be rejected if artwork quality is poor. Hanley Wood LLC./metalmag will not pay usage fees for any photos.

Notes

•	Winning entrants grant Hanley Wood LLC./metalmag the right to reproduce their work in metalmag’s May/June 2008 issue. Some award-wining projects may appear on metalmag’s Web site and in metalmag brochures, as well as be displayed in metalmag’s booth at trade shows/events, for promotional purposes only.
•	Hanley Wood LLC./metalmag assumes all entries are original and the works and property of the entrant with all rights granted therein.
•	Hanley Wood LLC./metalmag is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant.
•	Hanley Wood LLC./metalmag reserves the right to recategorize entries and reject entries if they do not meet requirements.
•	Because of the quantity of entries received, acknowledgement of submissions will not be provided.
•	Entries cannot be returned, and upon receipt they become the property of Hanley Wood LLC./metalmag.
•	Hanley Wood LLC./metalmag will notify winners.
